Homes selling faster in Scotland

September 16, 2008

Scotland may not be immune to the impact of the credit crunch, but homes here are still selling faster than elsewhere in the UK.  Research by Globrix, a property web site, shows that over half of all properties for sale in the UK have been on the market for 90 days or more.  In Scotland, however, that figure falls to 34 per cent of properties, the lowest figure for any of the UK nations.  Globrix commented that "Scotland is somehow bucking the trend" and said that it was the least stagnant market in the UK.
